A chill weekend in SF

This past weekend was completely open. I recently moved to SF and, as a tech transplant, I’ve been testing out all the things actual SF locals do. Here’s what I got into.

Saturday mornings are my solo time. I started off at the Ferry Plaza Farmers Market, which was already packed by the time I got there. One of the first stalls I saw had these fruit juices that looked amazing – I got the apple pomegranate one (the purple one) and found a bench by the pier to just sit and chill.

After that, I picked up chicken curry and momos from Bini Kitchen (8/10). I took it to Sue Bierman Park and ate under a tree. Great food, even better seating area (it was hot outside). Once I wrapped up there, I traversed over to Another Cafe (10/10) – one of my favorite coffee shops to get work done.

Saturday Evening Dinner was at Roma Antica (5/10)  with a few friends. The vibe was fun, but the food was just okay. Not bad. Probably wouldn’t go out of my way to return.

Sunday Morning is for Pickleball. I play at the Presidio Wall Playground courts, where you can jump into games with random SFers. I went with three friends, and we ended up playing three games – final score: 2–1. Competitive & fun.

After the match, I got a banh mi sandwich. Still hungry for something sweet, we walked to Little Sweet (10/10). I got a Thai iced tea.

Looking to explore some fun parks this next weekend. Will keep you posted.
